Job SummaryThe ACAA's Director, Internal Communications, is a strategist, storyteller, and executor who is responsible for developing and executing strategic communications that focus on internal priorities.
The incumbent will translate the ACAA's narrative and value proposition into internal-facing engagement that informs, engages, and inspires both current and prospective employees and other internal stakeholders.
As the internal communications owner, serves as a counselor for internal stakeholder communications for Executives, business units, and other internal communications professionals.
Here is how the Director, Internal Communications will help:
Develop and drive an internal communications strategy that ensures company annual priorities, initiatives, milestones, and projects are shared with employees effectively to foster increased engagement.
Develop and implement continuous feedback loops.
Constructs and deploys measurement, analytics, and reporting on the effectiveness of employee communication efforts, including both content engagement and internal channel performance.
Own coordination across all enterprise-wide internal communication channels to ensure a logical cadence and sequencing of planned internal communications activities.
Direct creation, stabilization, and evolution of internal communications infrastructure, including new technologies and more traditional/non-digital ways of reaching the front line.
Develop and manage content for enterprise-wide employee communications deliverables --including identifying objectives, strategies and tactics for execution.
Implement methodologies and innovative thinking, develop new uses for old channels, and create new forms of communication to ensure the right messages are presented at the right time.
Monitor, evaluate, and analyze the positioning & messaging of key competitors to identify opportunities and best practices.
Drive employee celebration events, and other culture-building experiences, by closely collaborating with People/HR team and event planners on the Communications team.
Collaborate with Communications colleagues to secure impactful communication on key/strategic workforce, operations and change management initiatives.
Ensure internal communications messages are aligned across all mediums, including external messaging and compliance with local regulations.
Orchestrate internal company-wide meetings, including shepherding the content, soliciting employee feedback, and delivering an optimal experience.
Ensure communications planning and delivery are aligned to optimize impact and drive identified priorities.
Utilize technology (e.

, intranet, video, email, digital, WebEx, town halls, meetings) to reach employees in all departments.

QualificationsRequirements to apply for role of Director, Internal Communications are:
Bachelor's degree in Communications Journalism or a closely related field.
from an accredited four-year college or university.
Master's Degree Preferred.
Seven (7) years of related experience in communications, including strategic employee communications leadership.
5 years at the managerial level.
Exposure to, or certification in, recognized change management communication methodologies.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and software.
Possess or obtain prior to employment a valid Pennsylvania Class C driver's license.
Note:
license must be maintained throughout employment.

Proficiency in assessing needs, developing short-term plans and strategies, and excellent project management skills.
Proven ability to write short to long-form content and video scripts under tight deadlines.
Experience developing visual and social-driven content.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
