#nowhiring! Belcan is excited to be working with our client in hiring a Health Safety and Environmental Specialist for plant industrial production site in Pittsburgh, PA.
The focus is to provide support to corporate HSE in implementation and training on corporate, OSHA and EPA regulations at the plant sites.
Job duties:
Evaluate equipment, polices and procedures ensuring HSE best practices.
Job hazard analysis to ensure compliance, identify and correct risk factors.
Support implementation of HSE management system.
Conduct ergonomic inspections and train employees.
Provide technical support with ESH management forms, tools and procedures.
Support ESH programs:
risk assessment, regulatory compliance calendar, corrective and preventive actions and management review.
Qualifications:
B.
S.
or higher in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Environmental, Health or related 2
years experience and competence operating in a HSE program in a manufacturing / warehousing / laboratory type facilities.
Work experience involving use of Office Ergonomic Software programs is helpful.
Knowledge of OSHA general industry standards, particularly focused on safety, industrial hygiene and occupational health related programs.
