Job: Supply Chain Management
Primary Location: US-PA-Indianola

CTG is seeking an Associate Buyer to work at their clients site in Indianola, PA 15051. This is a 12 month contract position that has the potential to extend longer.


Department is responsible for communicating and coordinating supply and demand information with both internal and external business partners.
Supply Chain Management Indianola/Saxonburg Site

This position provides support to the site purchasing organization in the coordination of schedules to meet customer requirements.


Assist in the development and issuance of detailed plans for assigned area of responsibility, necessary to achieve customer delivery commitments and to maintain inventory targets, where applicable.
Facilitate the analysis of supply shortfalls impacting internal and/or external customer requirements and ensure root cause identification and corrective action determination.
Monitor supply activities and expedite with the appropriate departments as necessary to insure customer delivery commitments are met.
Review and disposition materials requested by internal customers, where applicable and monitor performance.
Maintain SAP procurement parameters for assigned area of responsibility.
Prepare and issue reports related to supply activities and supplier delivery performance. Document and communicate information in a manner that is easy to understand.
Assist in inventory management of the production consumables at both facilities.
Communicate directly with the Bayer supply base on supply chain needs.


Education Requirement(s):
High School or GED with 3+ years of experience OR
Current enrollment in a degree seeking program, preferably Supply Chain Management.
Skill & Competency Requirements:
Demonstrated problem solving abilities
Strong attention to detail
Experience with Microsoft Office tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to quickly learn new IT systems and tools
SAP or ERP experience
Ability to build relationships and partnerships within the organization
Ability to work on projects of low complexity with direction
Demonstrated presentation, training, and interpersonal skills
This position is compensated at $19. 85 per hour on a W2 hourly basis (no C2C or 1099's).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
